Hunter Councils Incorporated invites SULO Australia as MGB Supplier

Hunter Councils no longer need to invite tenders for the supply of Mobile Garbage Bins (MGBs) as SULO Australia has entered into a contract with Hunter Councils Incorporated for the supply and delivery of MGBs, providing member councils with efficient purchasing of high quality MGBs at a competitive price.

On July 1 2009, SULO Australia was appointed as the supplier of MGBs to several councils within the hunter region, with the new contract agreement allowing councils who are members of Hunter Councils Incorporated to purchase MGBs directly from SULO Australia at specialised contract prices.

Hunter Councils Incorporated was created in 2004 in response to an identified need for expanded environmental management support and services to member councils. The Regional Procurement Initiative, a division of Hunter Councils Incorporated, under which the Hunter Councils Contract was developed, has been established in response to a need for a collaborative approach to regional tendering and contracting.

The Hunter Councils Contract provides significant benefits to member councils allowing them to take advantage of the competitive pricing available, purchasing directly from SULO and providing an efficient purchasing process.

The contract includes a variety of MGBs and provides councils with many options to purchase quality products that meet the requirements set under the Hunter Councils Contract.
